Frequently Asked Questions

A Partner fully implements the Love Cities community transformation model, including activation training, setup support (NPC, compliance, branding), and ongoing structured support. Partners operate as local implementation hubs within the network. Collaborators remain independent organisations but align with the Love Cities network for shared learning, tools, training, and collaboration opportunities. They do not implement the full model.
No. While many Partners are NGOs, this is not a requirement. Any structured entity (non-profit, community group, faith-based organisation, or social initiative) can apply, as long as there is a commitment to community impact and collaboration.
Yes. Churches can join either as Partners or Collaborators. As Partners, they must be willing to extend their work beyond internal church activity into broader community transformation initiatives aligned with the Love Cities model.
Yes. Businesses can participate as Collaborators or Investors. They can support through funding, skills, resources, volunteering, or strategic partnerships. Businesses are also encouraged to contribute to local economic and social development initiatives.
Training is a hybrid model. Core onboarding and activation training is delivered online, with in-person workshops, leadership circles, and Co-Lab sessions held periodically for deeper engagement and practical implementation.

Costs depend on the pathway:

  • Partners: Structured onboarding and activation costs (final figures to be confirmed)
  • Collaborators: Nominal annual fee (details to be finalised)
  • Investors/Donors: No membership fee; funding is voluntary and impact-driven

Full pricing details will be provided during the application process.

Yes. International organisations can join as Collaborators or Investors. They can support through funding, expertise, partnerships, or learning exchange. International Partners may also be considered where there is alignment with local implementation capacity and legal requirements.
